At Skyline Academy, We Are Designing Digital for Social Impact

Our Design Process

Our process brings together Startup founders, Investors, Business advisors, Designers, Developers, Working in synergy to define and develop a sustainable and engaging solution.

1.Discover

At the start of our process, we’ll take the time to listen to your problem and understand your difficulties, before empathetically investigating, observing & interacting with end users & stakeholders to fully understand their roles, relationships, and environment.

2.Define

The valuable data gathered within the Discover phase will offer insights into defining the motivations of your users, ensuring that we can design to their core drives, ultimately giving them meaning and purpose to engage with your digital product. This phase ends with a data-rich analysis report outlining user motivations, purpose and defined problem.

3.Ideate

Here we begin to conceptually design, think and develop potential solutions based on the insights of your users – and aligning these to the needs of the organisation – we will work collaboratively with you to think big when exploring potential solutions, we’ll reiterate this process and define until we have a number of co-created product design mock-ups.

4.Prototype

By this stage, we will have a number of core concepts developed into user-friendly prototypes. As throughout the whole of our process we will reiterate our thinking based on the engagement and insights of the user, therefore we’ll explore these concepts with our users and redefine the product until we have one final solution that meets both user and organization requirements.

5.Test

At this final stage, we’ll continue to work on the final solution, driving it forward with our tech partner and testing its development at every stage with both users and stakeholders. We will deliver a final project report outlining our journey together tracing our thinking from final solution to our first user engagement.
